Imagine stores (567 of them) full of bargain consumer electronics gear at liquidation prices… but no one to buy them. With the way that Christmas sales were, it’s possible that Circuit City – whose 500+ stores are being liquidated – might have a hard time selling their nearly $2B in stock items, even at must go prices.  The company is liquidating after not receiving any buyout interest.
