Now That’s a Digital Camera

When you’re feeling a bit of writer’s block, one thing you can always try is to change your perspective. If you take that advice literally, then you could grab your camera and start clicking.
No camera? Got $8,000? It’ll buy you a sexy new Canon EOS-1Ds Mark III digital camera - not to be confused with the 1D. Crave has a picture and some comparison specs. In short, it boasts 21 megapixels. If that doesn’t mean anything to you, well, it just means extremely high resolution digital images. At that measure, if my calculations aren’t off, even a medium-sized poster will still look (almost) as crisp as if you’d taken the pic with 35 mm film.
Now keep in mind that if you’re working online, there is a need for digital pics at various microstock houses. Some photogs make a living, others supplement their income. You might not need 21 Megapixels, but if you’re using your camera for revenue, you can probably write it off against your income.
